Olympic Swim Trials - right here in Omaha, NE

Hey gals! I just wanted to share this layout that I have been working on for my customer, Pam! She has been very patient with me , giving me time to work on her daughters layouts - since I am back to work full time! I thought it would be fun to share this one with you now , since the Olympic Swim Trials are taking place! You never know , we might have an Olympic hopeful right here in Omaha!

July

Jared turns 4 this month! This is the layout that I did for his new room . He and his Daddy love racing - so that is what his room is all about! His Mommy, Kadee - won my contest of naming my scrapbooking business - and the prize was a free layout! I let her choose what she wanted - and she decided on a layout for the wall! I couldn't hardly do one for Gracee Mae and not for little Jared ! This is how his turned out! It was really fun the way it just finally came together to look like an actual race track! He will be able to change the picture as he grows on this page!

Working 9 to 5 - Just a way to make a living!

Hi everyone! Sorry that it has been so long since I posted ! Things in my life have changed pretty dramatically since we went on our cruise. I had interviewed for a job with Cardinal Health prior to leaving - and the Monday after my return , they called for my second interview! Long story short - I am now back to work full time. I manage the purchasing department - and we buy the medical surgical supplies for The Nebraska Medical Center. It has been very interesting - I am learning a lot of new things and am meeting new people every day!

But, most of you are probably interested in what I have done for my Scrappy Booking business.

I worked on a couple of pages that I am framing for Jared and Gracee Willard's rooms . Their Mommy helped me with my logo and is working with Dena on her wedding stuff! Here they are - if any of you have people who might be interested in a one time gift - as a wall hanging - please point them in my direction!

Heading to the Mexican Riviera!

To those of you who know us well, my husband Joe and I have been married for 30 years next month! Yeah for us! We have raised 2 children, Jason and Dena - and have 2 granddaughters! We are cruising on the Carnival Pride on Sunday to celebrate our anniversary! I wanted to share with you some pages that I created for Dena's album from her Senior Spring Break trip that we took to Cabo San Lucas - since Joe and I will be visiting Cabo again as one of our ports!

Will be posting again once we return - with some awesome vacation layouts !
You will see that there is a blank matted piece of white cardstock in the left hand bottom corner. I asked Dena to add her own journaling about her trip!

Gymnastics layout "Beaming" is complete!

Hello to all! It is Sunday evening and I have FINALLY completed this layout , that started out to be a very simple layout , but ended up being a challenge for me! I started with the CTMH Outdoor Denim and Sunny Yellow cardstock , and added a print from some of my hundreds of sheets of paper that I have stocked. I got the pictures matted with CTMH White Daisy , something that I could not ever be without ! Then came the difficult part, once I decided on the Title , I had to come up with some Pretties to decorate the page and jazz it up! For those of you who know me , and have seen my scrapbooking room , one would think that I should have enough stuff to not have to shop for anything for a number of years . BUT , the perfectionist in me reared her ugly head - and just had to go shopping for "THE" perfect thing . After a trip to Archivers and then another one to Michaels - I still didn't have just what I was looking for , but came home with more bags of goodies that I am sure that I will "NEED" someday! Of all places , I finally found the daisy ribbon at Walmart , got that on last evening , and just after midnight last night , decided that I needed to add another color. After Joe and I went to the movies "Nim's Island" we stopped at Archivers once again and I found some really cool chipboard shapes that I thought I might be able to use ink , but the cashier told me about the acrylic paints . So, you know me , got to have the latest and greatest ! Came home and painted the little daisy shaped in red , added some little yellow buttons , which I felt was a very cute color addition . Then after all of that there was a whole in the middle by the picture where Alyssa has her hands on her hips , so I added the arrow . Then , after all that , I thought , wouldn't it be cute to stamp the word smile and attach it to the arrow ! That also was from my CTMH collection of stamps , from the "Solo" S stamp set. Now, finally , I feel like I have a completed layout ! I hope that Pam likes this one as much as her other ones. Very anxious to get started on something new again!

I also had another idea today , to do some of the framed 12X 12 layout pages of peoples pets that they can hang on the wall and enjoy ! I am trying to think of other things to grow my business for people who just don't have an interest in investing the time and energy in a complete scrapbook! I would appreciate it if you could give suggestions as well!

Please tell all of your friends, I have lots of goodies here in my scrapbook room just waiting to jump on a page!

Outstanding Student - With words from Mom!

This is one of the layouts that I have been working on for Pam. I just couldn't figure out just what to do to dress this one up , so today I added eyelets to the green printed paper , and added ribbon to the title and to the CTMH dimensional elements that I used CTMH Spring Iris Ink with my dauber. I also added a few other chipboard elements that I had with a set from my scrapping room! Then I got the words from Mom about the events of the day , and it made it just perfect - and then I had to add the little heart to make it that much more special! Enjoy! Thanks for visiting!
